Parking, Restaurants, Year Book. & the Final Countdown.

July 29/09---Parking of vehicles.
Checking with Annapolis Police and parking is scarce in Ye Olde Town. We asked if we parking could be done along Route 1 , near the Vineyard and on the side next to Ducks Unlimited. Parking will be permitted, as long as the cars are off the highway. There are wide shoulders and it is close to the Legion/Community Centre.

July 21/09
Well here we are, into the final approach for Blast From The Past. We have finalized everything and we are on the countdown.
There will be a breakfast served on Friday 31/09 at the Community Centre from 0830 to 1030 hrs., followed by the walk down MEMORY LANE at ARRA from 1100 hrs to 1300hrs(1pm).
For those registrants that have inquired about name tags( Yes Virginia there will be name tags, re.The before and after names)
We have also engaged the services of a photographer, so there will be lots of pictures taken throughout both functions, as well a DVD will be taken of the event. Couple & individual photo's will be taken and on display, so everyone has a chance to view the photo's. Prices for pictures will range from $5.00 to $15.00 and be available for purchase in different sizes on his secure website which includes paypal. There will also be a group photo taken.
So I hope everyone has their dancing shoes on because this is going to be one BLAST of a PARTY.
Cheers

News

Hello Everyone,
Please be advised that the cut-off date for registration has been changed to the end of June/Mid July.
I am enroute from Victoria to Annapolis Royal as we speak. Driving across this great country of ours.

Everything is on target for the reunion . Just got back from Annapolis Royal and saw lots of people. I want to say how fantastic the Commmunity Hall (Legion) is looking . Everybody is working hard to get it done for the reunion. A big round of applause to Bonnie & Chip, they have been working their buns off with the help of many town folk involved also , RE. Jane Nicholson. Again THANK-YOU it looks terrific.
Many people have been asking me about the dress code for the Meet & greet and the dance. Casual , dress slacks, sport shirts for the guys and the ladies casual as well. We ask that you don't wear blue jeans.
Everyday Bob is getting new registrants, so if you haven't registered yet ??????
I have put in my order for the nicest weather to happen on the reunion dates, so if everyone of us puts an order in it should be pretty darn nice.
Bruce Forcey & Ann Radcliffe have graciously opened their home for a couple who need accommodations. Bruce can be reached at 902-638-3590.
